White socks pulled high.
Legs flexing.

They offer a quiet invitation, a ritual of anticipation. Innocent yet explicit, teasing and tactile.

From the locker room corner, it becomes something else.
A line divides the field: sport and desire, discipline and drift.

Socks reside here, in the liminal zone where public merges with private, where bodies shift between codes, where a gesture can both veil and reveal.

To wear it is to perform.
Gearing up becomes ceremony. The attraction lies not just in the object, but in the act of dressing, in the choreography, in the pause before movement.

The work draws on the rituals surrounding sport: the changing room, the preparation of the body, the donning of uniform, the moment before entering the field. Wrestling becomes another point of reference, a practice in which bodies meet, resist, embrace and negotiate space, suspended between competition and intimacy. The changing room becomes a threshold, a private space that prepares the body for its public performance, while also producing its own codes of looking, posing and desire.

The installation is composed of video, sound and spatial elements that evoke this transitional environment. Images of legs, socks, gestures and bodies are fragmented and repeated, creating a choreography that moves between stillness and physical exertion. The videos operate less as documentation than as a ritualized sequence: preparation, exposure, encounter and movement. Through this language, the work explores how seemingly ordinary sporting gestures can become charged with eroticism, vulnerability and performance.
