The soldier loses its authority. Cast in bronze yet stripped of armor, it becomes a body among bodies.Small, exposed, and caught in a game it no longer controls. Around it, figures gather, collapse, crawl, aim, or rest, while a creature stands as both witness and disruption.
Here, play becomes a method of undoing: undoing discipline, undoing linear time, undoing the expected trajectories of bodies. The figures echo childhood games, but also the coded performances through which queer identities emerge. Part visible, part hidden.
The creature, neither fully human nor fully other, carries the presence of the queer child: a ghostly figure that exists within memory yet resists recognition.
Through bronze, heavy and permanent, this installation attempts to hold something unstable: the fleeting and secret nature of the other.
