Reduction linocut, aquatint, lithography (2019-2023)
This series returns to the map as something unstable: pulled apart and rebuilt through print. Working across fabric, soil, and other surfaces resistant to precision, each impression distorts what came before it: proportions stretch, positions drift, projections lose their footing. Reduction linocut, by nature, cannot be undone or corrected, each layer erases what preceded it, leaving only trace, only residue, only what survives the cut.
What emerges is not a more accurate map, but a more honest one. One that admits it was always a version, never a truth. A map that bends instead of insisting. A map that remembers it was once cloth, and might yet be folded into something else.
