Boundaries

Metal and glass, two materially contrasting elements. The metal forms a staged, almost theatrical architectural structure, with distorted and playful constructions. These frameworks suggest spaces of imagination, experimentation and instability, places where rules are present but can also be bent.

Within these environments, blown glass introduces a kind of body. The glass forms inhabit the metal structures, appearing to press against them, adapt to their contours, or search for a way to fit within their predefined boundaries. Fragile yet resistant, they negotiate their presence within a rigid framework, creating a tension between containment and transformation.

Through this encounter, the works open onto multiple readings. At their core is an exploration of play as a disruptive force, and of the queer body’s relationship to social structures: how it bends, adapts, resists, occupies, and reshapes the spaces it is asked to inhabit. Play becomes a way of testing these boundaries.
